"Bulgaria Donates" campaign launched

The "Bulgaria Donates" (Bulgaria dariava) national campaign, bringing together 12 NGOs, has started. The initiative continues until March 31st and aims at involving a wide range of people with socially significant causes. There are several fields for voluntary donation - art and culture, support for the elderly, education, talents, sports, and healthcare. Krassimira Velichkova from the Bulgarian Donors' Forum told BNR that in recent years Bulgarians have been donating more and more. Most Bulgarians usually donate money for health care, individual treatment campaigns and in cases of disasters and accidents. After them place causes related to education, culture and media.
