Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and the vali of Edirne Ekrem Canalp inspected, together, Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint between the two countries, after the freight traffic passing across it was normalized and the kilometres-long lines of trucks in the direction of Turkey disappeared.

Representatives of hauliers thanked the Bulgarian prime minister for the assistance in resolving the problem. The vali of Edirne commented that the lines of trucks along the border are over and done with thanks to the good relations between the two countries. PM Borissov stated on his part that the freight traffic problem between Bulgaria and Turkey has been resolved definitively.
