Twins from Bulgaria win award from competition in India

The 9-year old twins Marina and Nikola Katsarski from Kolorit children’s art school in Pleven received the highest award at an international competition “Fight against coronavirus 2020”, Maya Ananieva, head of the art school announced.

A total of 1,700 works by children and youngsters form 40 countries on different continents took part in the contest. The works reflect the experience of the young artists, aged 6 to 19, and of their families in this grave situation, as well as the hopes of the children for a life free of Covid-19.

The selected and awarded works will be printed in leaflets and handed over to the World Health Organization, UNESCO and other world organizations for large-scale campaigns connected with Covid-19. The works have been posted to the website of the international competition  “Picasso Art Contest”, https://www.picassoartcontest.com/ along with photographs of the contestants, Maya Ananieva adds.
