In the January-March 2017 period, Bulgaria’s exports to non-EU countries have gone up by 20.1 percent compared to the same period of 2016, or2.172 billion euro, whereas imports are up by 41.8 percent or 2.641 billion euro, National Statistical Institute data indicate.
Yesterday the institute made public data regarding the increase in the country’s trade with the countries of the European Union. Bulgaria’s overall exports to EU as well as non-EU countries over the January-March 2017 period stand at 6.225 billion euro, which means a 14.8 percent increase compared to the same period of 2016. Overall imports stand at 7.129 billion euro which is 21 percent up on January-March 2016.
