A metalworking plant in the Bulgarian village of Ruzhintsi near Vidin has become the first Bulgarian company officially on sale for bitcoin, Capital Daily reported.
The offer came from owner Yuliana Kostova, who has been investing in crypto-currencies and has a business in the sphere of real estate and tourism. The price for 92.5% of the Metal Constructions Plant equals about 495,000 euros, as Etherium or Monero are also accepted. On Tuesday the factory cost was 34 bitcoins, the newspaper calculated. The announced price of 495 thousand euros, according to Kostova, is well below the external assessment, which reaches 1.15 million euros.
The plant produces electricity pylons but has not worked for two years due to a lack of demand from electricity distribution companies. According to Kostova, all assets are preserved and the plant can resume production immediately.
