The new direct airline between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan will allow an even more successful development of tourism and is to increase the number of tourists, the Ministry of Tourism forecasted.

It is expected that thanks to the possibility of direct travel for the citizens of the two countries, joint initiatives for the development of cultural and historical, spa, wellness and other types of tourism will be launched. The Ministry of Tourism has been actively working with its Azerbaijani partners so that joint tours for journalists and tour operators are held in both countries.

The Ministry announced that this year Bulgaria will be a partner country at the AITF International Tourism Fair in Baku, which will be held in April for the 17th consecutive year.
