Further 12 million euro released for development of Bulgaria, Serbia cross-border region

Close to 12 million euro has been released for the development of the cross-border region between Bulgaria and Serbia. 

This includes investment projects aimed to boost the development of sustainable tourism in the region of the border between the two neighboring countries.

The INTERREG – IPA Bulgaria-Serbia 2014-2020 programme for cross-border cooperation is of exceptional importance for fulfilling the priorities of this country as rotating president of the Council of EU regarding the European integration of the Western Balkans, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Denitsa Nikolova commented.
