Bulgarian athlete Silvia Georgieva becomes Balkan champion in 3000 m

Bulgarian Silvia Georgieva has won the gold at the Balkan U20 Athletics Championships in Istanbul.

The Bulgarian triumphed in the 3000 m event with a personal record clocking от 9:51.77 min.

Antonio Ivanov and Martin Prodanov won silver medals. Ivanov finished second in the 100 m race clocking 10.91 sec. Prodanov clocked 3:50.68 min in the 1500 event, bgathletic.com reports.
