Elina Stoyanova from Bulgaria, and her bookstore in London were included in a video by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, www.bulgariansinlondon.com reports.
In June 2016 the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan launched a campaign “London is Open”, aimed at presenting London as a city open for business. In 2018 a video came out, as part of the campaign, showing European entrepreneurs, conveying the message that despite Brexit, London is still a good place to live.
One of the people included in the video is Elina Stoyanova from Bulgaria and her Bulgarian bookstore “Once upon a time”.
“The bookstore is home to all Bulgarians who feel a need to discuss the latest book they have read, or the meaning of life. Of course, it is not easy to sell books in your own language in a foreign country. But it brings a sense of satisfaction,” Elina says in an interview for the website.
