The Kapana art gallery opened in the European Capital of Culture Plovdiv. The exhibition hall is on two levels and covers a total area of 1,000 square meters. The biggest art gallery in Plovdiv has four separate exhibition halls. A special exhibition consisting of 250 paintings which are part of the Plovdiv Municipality’s cultural fund met the first visitors of the gallery. The exhibition presents the works of the most prominent contemporary artists such as Yoan Leviev, Georgi Bozhilov-Slona, Valchan Petrov and dozens of other artists.
