Grigor Dimitrov drops out of 2020 Australian Open after losing to Tommy Paul

Bulgaria's tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov, ranked # 18 in the Australian Open, has lost his match against 22-year-old American Tommy Paul by 4:6, 6:7 (6), 6:3, 7:6 (3), 6 :7 (3) and was thus eliminated in the second round of the first Grand Slam tournament of the season. The game lasted 4 hours and 8 minutes.

The defeat means that 28-year-old Dimitrov will lose 135 points from his ranking, because last year he reached the round of 16 in Melbourne, for which he received 180 points, and now he takes only 45.
