State institutions are the main culprit for country's water crisis: public opinion poll says

The vote of no confidence in the government filed in Parliament by the Bulgarian Socialist Party earlier this week over the failure of the cabinet in its environmental and water policy that led to a water crisis in many cities in the country, is approved by the majority of society. Institutions are mainly to blame for the water crisis, shows a public opinion poll by Gallup International. 47% of respondents approve of the opposition's request and 27% are in the opposite opinion. However, when asked specifically about the need for early parliamentary elections, 35% agree and 40% oppose the idea.
Gallup International's conclusion is that an abstract desire for change dominates Bulgarian society, but when it comes specifically to new parliamentary elections, there is no clear majority.
