The Foreign Ministers of Bulgaria and Turkey – Ekaterina Zaharieva and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu are to discuss, in Sofia today, bilateral relations and cooperation in security and combatting illegal migration, partnership within NATO and other international organizations, EU-Turkey relations.
This is the first official visit by a Turkish foreign minister to Bulgaria since 2014, and it comes at a time of an upward trend in the relations between the two countries.
