World Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup in Sofia cancelled over coronavirus epidemic

The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia, scheduled to take place from April 10-12, is postponed, the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation has announced. The accompanying International Tournament for the Sofia Cup scheduled for April 5-7 is also postponed. Additionally, new dates will be set for both races. The Federation has also announced that it will not send a delegation to the Grand Prix tournament in Kiev next week. 

The first case of COVID-19 was registered in Bulgarian sports circles. The person who tested positive for coronavirus is basketball coach Boris Brakalov, who was in Spain last week. His condition is good and he is hospitalized.
