PM Borissov takes part in European Council meeting on COVID-19

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov is taking part in the European Council meeting at which the actions for checking the coronavirus epidemic will be coordinated by the heads of state and governments of the EU countries.

The participants will also discuss ways to cope with the social and economic consequences of the spread of the disease. Another item on the agenda of the meeting, which has been conducted via videoconferencing for the third week running, is the adoption of a decision to start EU membership negotiations with North Macedonia and Albania.
