Photo: library

In March, the total business climate indicator in Bulgaria has gone down by 3.7 points compared to February which is due to the deteriorated business climate in industry, retail trade and the services sector, the National Statistical Institute has announced.

The composite indicator “business climate in industry” has dropped by 5.2 points due to the pessimistic assessments and expectations of entrepreneurs regarding the certainty of contracts. In March the unfavourable effect of the “uncertainty of the economic environment” factor has become dominant, taking the place of the effect of the“shortage of staff” factor.
