Bulgaria-Qatar co-production wins Grand Prix Award of Sofia International Film Fest 2020

Sofia City of Film grand prix award for best film of the 24th Sofia International Film Fest went to "Sister" (Bulgaria-Qatar co-production), directed by Svetla Tsotsorkova, producers Svetoslav Ovcharov and Svetla Tsotsorkova. The Special Jury Award went to "Nocturnal" (Great Britain) directed by Nathalie Biancheri. The Best Director Award went to Eva Cools for her "Cleo" film (Belgium). The Best Bulgarian Film award goes to "Cat in the Wall" directed by Mina Mileva and Vesela Kazakova. The Best Balkan Film Award went to "A Tale of Three Sisters" (Turkey, Germany, Netherlands, Greece) directed by Emin Alper. This year's edition of Sofia International Film Fest presented 111 films from 48 countries.
