Between January and July 2020 Bulgaria’s export of goods to the EU contracted by 6.5% as compared to the same period last year to nearly EUR 10.5 billion. Meanwhile, exports to third countries contracted by 11.5% year on year to EUR 6.1 billion. The largest amounts were reported for the goods exported to Turkey, China, Great Britain, Serbia, Russia and North Macedonia. Import from third countries decreased by 12.8% to EUR 7.5 billion.
