Football fans are protesting in the area of the national stadium in Sofia

A protest by football fans is taking place in the area of the national stadium "Vasil Levski" in Sofia, where a football match from the European qualifiers between Bulgaria and Hungary will be played. The protest is because of the state of Bulgarian football and against the management of the Bulgarian Football Union.

There is an increased police presence in the area. Traffic in the area is highly restricted. At the moment, the protest is proceeding peacefully.
