Grigor Dimitrov will not be playing for the title at the 2024 ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam after going down 4-6, 3-6 to Australian Alex de Minaur.

The Bulgarian was broken in the first game of both sets and that was enough for his opponent to seal victory. Alex De Minaur wrapped up the match with another break in the second set and will now play Italian Yannick Sinner in the final.

Despite not winning the title, Grigor Dimitrov earned 200 world ranking points and €114,490 from the prize pool by reaching this stage of the tournament. The 2024 ABN AMRO Open, which is played on indoor hard courts, has a prize fund of 2.2 million euros.

The next tournament in which the tennis player will take part starts on 26 February in Acapulco.
