Temperatures on the rise, spring weather on Friday

On Friday, the weather in Bulgaria will be mostly sunny. There will be weak wind in the eastern parts, stronger winds in the western half of the country. 

Daytime temperatures will be on the rise - highs will reach 21°C to 26°C, in Sofia – around 21°C; the minimum temperatures will be mostly between 4°C and 9°C, slightly higher in North-West Bulgaria, in Sofia – around 5°C.

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny, with some high cloud cover in the afternoon. Moderate westerly wind is expected. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be about 15°C, at 2,000 meters - about 9°C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny. A light to moderate wind will blow from the west quarter. Maximum temperatures will be between 21°C and 24°C. The temperature of the sea water will be 9°-10°C. 

On the Balkan Peninsula, it will be mostly sunny with high temperatures for the end of March. High cloud cover will increase from the west and a new portion of Saharan dust will be brought with it.
