Dozens of popular Bulgarian athletes are to participate at the cycling event "Sofia Cycles for Cleaner Air". All of them will send a message for cleaner air and an even more beautiful and green capital.

The event will kick off at 11:00 a.m. in front of the National Assembly. The four-kilometer route ends at the entrance of the South Park Sofia. The park’s large meadow will host a sports day with many attractions and competitions. There will be a raffle with prizes, a children's cycling competition, a tire changing competition, etc.

The event, organized by "Sofia - World Capital of Sport", the Urban Mobility Center and the Sofia Municipality will be supported by Olympic champions from the Summer Olympics in Tokyo: boxer Stoyka Krasteva and karateka Ivet Goranova. It will also be supported by sports legends Yordan Yovchev (gymnastics) and Evgenia Radanova (short track), Olympic bronze medalist Reneta Kamberova (rhythmic gymnastics) and others.
